Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, I do occasionally take on custom designs, and I love the process of bringing someone’s vision to life. That said, there are a few important guidelines to keep in mind:
I work exclusively in sterling silver and do not work with other metals.
I do not set faceted gemstones or create prong settings.
I am unable to resize heirloom rings (such as your grandmother’s wedding band).
What I do enjoy is reimagining old sterling silver jewelry (with or without cabochon-style stones) into something new and unique. I also have a wide selection of carefully sourced stones you can choose from for your custom piece.
The process usually involves:
Selecting a stone together
Choosing the bezel style
Deciding on finishing touches such as ring shank, bail style, or band details
From there, I bring your design to life as a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece of jewelry.
I'm not a procrastinator... so I prefer to have you out the door in less than a month. That being said, I do the "snow bird" thing! I am up-north, in Joseph, OR in the summers and down-south in who-knows-where in the winter. The transition months of May and October can delay things a bit. But other than that, you can expect about a 4 week turnaround time.
