Sterling silver naturally tarnishes from exposure to sulfur-containing gases in the air. In order to remove tarnish, products such as jewelry polishing cloths can be used. Store sterling in a small plastic baggie to slow the tarnishing process. Avoid submerging in natural/sulfer hot springs.
